I am married and have two kids--Lexie is in 8th grade and Liam is in 6th grade. I have been teaching three years and LOVE fourth grade! I am excited to meet you all. Hi my name is Michael K. I live with my mom and dad, brother Lucas (2nd grade-age 7) and sister Grace (Preschool-age 3). I love to play baseball, read about baseball, baseball stats (I know most players stats), and the Detroit Tigers. I have my own fantasy baseball team and I am getting into fantasy football with my dad too. Looking forward to a great year!

Your astronauts turned out great and now they are floating all around our room. We will start "Walk to Read" this week and many of you will travel to another classroom for your reading instruction. The idea behind Walk to Read is to personalize your reading instruction. That means your reading teacher will meet with your reading group to work on skills YOU need more help on. Not all kids are the same and they don't have the same needs. You may be strong in one area but your friend may need more help in that area. Walk to Read makes sure everyone gets help in an area they may struggle in. We will spend the next week getting used to the switch in the afternoons and learning new names/getting to know new classmates. I am looking forward to getting to know all about your book interests. We plan on reading many books and articles on interesting science and social studies issues, as well. See you all on Monday--it's going to be a new adventure!

Hi Mrs.Willoughby I LOVE being in your class. The lights hanging on the ceiling are very cool and crafty. I love the way your classroom works. People always told me about you and how nice you really are. I also like how in the first week of school you gave us extra recess because we were taking a lot of tests. You are also very smart, pretty and helpful. I am looking forward to more awesome projects like the spaceman project we did on the first day of school. I think I will learn a lot from you. I am defiantly looking forward to this year.

Starting May 1st, go out and look at the moon every night and draw it in the circle for each day in May. This is so you can see the moon go through all its phases over the course of a month. See you tomorrow! :)

have i mentioned i love to sing,dance,i LOVE THE INTERNET!!!. I love games,charlie and the chocolate factory and Vocaloid (if you heard of it) and also the things i dislike are....weeping angels cuz they are SCARY D: and also i dont like bloody mary and most killers and horror stuff (only sometimes i like scary stuff)thats all :D
