Martin Luther King Jr./Diversity Celebration

Our class was asked to work on a project celebrating MLK/diversity.  This is what we produced.  The kids learned about the Civil Rights movement and brainstormed key words for our video.  Great job, guys!

Online Testing

Our students have taken their first math test, online.  We plan to research online, complete projects online and utilize online tools.  We will build our technology skills throughout the year.

Halloween 2012!

Balancing Act

As we further explore our unit on science inquiry, students learn how to operate a balance scale.  They experimented with gram weights to determine the weights of pencils, paperclips, wooden blocks, etc.  Precision is key and hands-on practice is enormously valuable!
